AWPs are large and mobile platforms used to access areas that would otherwise be out of reach, such as high ceilings or inaccessible roofs. AWPs are utilized in various work applications, from construction and building maintenance to electrical line repair and tree care. They allow workers to access heights safely. Most AWPs in deployment today are powered by hydraulic systems consisting of interconnected cylinders, valves, and hoses. These hydraulic systems allow the operator to raise and lower the platform by using a handle connected to the platform’s “pump” cylinder.
Hydraulic valves for ariel work platforms allow for the precise adjustment of platform height and are typically found on aerial work platforms. Chia-Wang’s solenoid-operated cartridge valves can be tailored for various AWP applications; some examples are telescopic boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other mobile platform lifts. Our hydraulic valves are stable, reliable, and robust. They regulate the fluid controlling AWPs’ hydraulic systems. Check our valves for more technical details or contact us to discuss your valve specifications.
